Need More reasons to come ?

We will be hosting an exclusive discussion forum with Tadaaki Kimura (Founder of Addlight Inc) and Serial Entrepreneur, Hajime Hirose (Founder of BuzzElement).

Tadaaki sits on the board of director of many Japanese tech startups and has helped four startups to be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange market. He has also been actively investing in startups in Asia and providing business consultation to top Japanese enterprises and startup incubators.

Hajime is a seasoned technology entrepreneur with more than 18 years of mobile and internet experience spanning Japan, China, the USA and UK. Prior to founding BuzzElement, Hajime was the Vice President of the Software and Services Group at Pactera and was the General Manager of their Shanghai and London operations. He is now based in KL.

They will be sharing some valuable insights to you about startups and the growth of the Japanese startup ecosystem. Key topics include :

  • Coming from Japan, what are the new models that we will see in 2016 that you believe will work ?
  • What are examples of top companies doing very well in Japan that will soon grow out regionally ?
  • What does regional growth mean for Japanese startups generally ? Which countries do they tend to target after Japan ?
  • How soon should SE-Asian startups think of Japan when they grow ?

Moderating the event will be Jason Chia from 1337 Ventures, a SE Asia focused startup accelerator. Trained as a lawyer, Jason was featured in Forbes as one of the first to build a bitcoin exchange Britcoin based out of London. Come do an elevator pitch should you manage to catch him!
